PRE ISTIADAT KONVOKESYEN KE-13 #3

And here's another activity that we wanna tell you guyssss!

There were so many students dropping by Feskonisel on Friday night to see the Chancellor give a speech about the upcoming UNISEL convocation that is coming up on the 27th October. The atmosphere of the night was exciting.

The President of the World Peace foundation gave a speech about the earthquake that happened in Indonesia, especially in Lombok that happened not too long ago and the risks of natural disasters that will happen in our country. The speech caught people's attention as they showed a video of the unfortunate event happening in Lombok.

After that, there was a performance by the past winner who won UNISEL's got talent. The performance was charming and outstanding. Everyone enjoyed it!

Finally, the Chancellor gave a speech to the beloved students mostly about the upcoming convocation. He said that he was proud of how UNISEL got to attract so many outsider's attention that plenty of people will come the next day by having plenty of useful facilities for everyone. He also thanked the MPP people for organizing an amazing event.

After the speech, there was an outstanding fire performance happening and everybody was just amazed by it.

Despite the rainy weather, a lot of people came to 'Feskonisel' with their friends and family. We also went shopping for ourselves and they were all at good prices!. The MPP people really helped the event going smoothly. Good Job guys!

Today on 26th October 2018, the preparation for Convocation Day went well despite the rainy weather, kudos to the UNISEL staffs for handling it perfectly.

QUOTE OF THE DAY #2- WHY RELIGION?

Assalammualaikum and a very good evening to our beloved readers! Today we found a quote that attracts our attention.

"JUST AS A CANDLE CANNOT BURN WITHOUT FIRE, MEN CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT A SPIRITUAL LIFE."

This quote tells us that every religion in this world, whether you are a Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Christian or any other, a religion is what sets someone's fire to do something or acquire something in life.

This quote also implies that every religion encourages their people to achieve amazing things and goals in life. Therefore, we as the follower can use this as a guide when we are about to do something. Every religion wants their people to gain success. Its just depends on how we imply it in our daily life.

Another example for this, as students, when we are having a hard time focusing on a certain activity, we will be even more focus if we turn to religion. For instance, as a Muslim, I always turn to du'a for a clear mind and to gain peace. By that, it is easier for me to focus back on what i was doing. And I think it is the same for any other religion as well. With religion, we feel even more secure spiritually.

Lastly, our religion guides us on doing positive things in life and discard all the negativity there are in this world. No religion tells their people to steal, murder someone and other negative activities. If we use this as a guide in our everyday life than maybe our lives will be more peaceful, less problematic and easy. Just focus on the positives!

On 17th October 2018, YB Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim was invited by UNISEL Bestari Jaya as 'SPECIAL INFLUENCE'. There are many students and community also the team media members presents themselves to meet YB Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim at CHANCELLOR HALL on that night.

YB Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim told us that gaining knowledge can save our lives from being dead. Many people did not serious when acquire knowledge that's why the community is easy to be deceived and to be fool by other people. Furthermore, he emphasized to the students to read various types of material like books, journals and even information videos on YouTube. YB also told the fellow UNISEL students to never give up on finding and gaining new knowledge for the sake of the country's name and image.

YB Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim also mentioned about the infamous quote by Mahatma Ghandi.

"There is enough on Earth for everybody's need, but not enough for everybody's greed."

By that quote, we think that it is important to differentiate the meaning of need and greed. We would live in balance of Earth and all other life on Earth, we though are resourceful and greedy. We always want more, more than everything, more than what we need or could ever need.

We waste and lay waste to everything we touch and see, we no longer adapt to our environment,or racial differences or features mean little now except to decide us. Now we make our environment adapt to us throwing nature off balance, not just where we are but everywhere.

Cause and effect, what we do here most likely effects things in other places near and far depending on what we do. Pollution is one of those effects that we can not fully understand or control, but there are many other effects from our resource fullness.

Therefore, it is always important for us to not be grateful in what god has given us in our Earth. It is up to us as the young generation of our people on earth to use the given resources properly and not waste them so casually as other people might need it. Lastly, this is a major global problem that we all need to take action as it can affect the next generations of youth.

WE, as human always gonna face problem in our life. Doesn't matter whether we gonna face it every month or every weeks or every day, we still have chances to solve it with our own ways or from our friends opinion.

If you have problem in achieve something in your life, here are 5steps to chase your 'unrealistic' dream that you can follow up guys!

1. FRAME OUR DREAM.

We can't become what we can't envision. So, why not you take a picture of it in your mind's eye in vivid, specific detail and then you translate that picture into words, write down that big, unrealistic dream.

There was study done by Dr. Gail Matthews that shows that you are 42% more likely to achieve your goals if you write them down.

2. FILTER OPINIONS & FEND OFF NEGATIVITY.

You have to fend off negativity as much a humanly possible. Negativity is one of the most toxic forces on the planet. It's toxic your brain, your nervous system and for your ability to stay motivated.

You have to always consider the source, don't put a lot of stock into other people's opinions unless they're actually out there consistently taking risks and being brave and actually making things happen.

3. FLOOD YOURSELF WITH POSITIVE EXAMPLES.

Feeding your mind and surrounding yourself with positive stories on a consistent basis of other people who have achieved unrealistic dreams.

4. FAST FORWARD.

When you're on your deathbed, you couldn't care less about what anybody who says your deams are unrealistic says.

5. FOCUS ON ACTION.

This is the most important step of all. Action is the antidote to fear. You don't have to take perfect action, you just need to take any action.
